ARTS ORGANIZATIONS
Arts Council Silicon Valley - Arts Council Silicon Valley is a private, non-profit arts organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for Santa Clara County residents by supporting arts and culture throughout the county. In 2003-04, the Arts Council funded more than 130 arts and cultural groups and artists with grants ranging from $500 to $10,000, for a total of $507,568. The Choral Project is proud to be funded in part by a grant from Arts Council Silicon Valley in partnership with the County of Santa Clara and the California Arts Council.
San José Chamber Orchestra - The San José Chamber Orchestra is a 20 member professional string orchestra founded in 1991 by conductor Barbara Day Turner, with a stated purpose of presenting high-quality chamber orchestra repertoire to the community. The Choral Project presents an annual joint concert with SJCO each December.
Silicon Valley Gay Men's Chorus - The SVGMC is an organization of diverse men dedicated to maintaining a high sense of personal and collective pride, promoting fellowship within the Silicon Valley gay and lesbian communities, and winning the respect and admiration of all people through musical performance. They are conducted by The Choral Project's Artistic Director, Daniel Hughes.
Chorus America - Chorus America is known for its unparalleled ability to enhance the organizational strength of choruses through services that address infrastructure, management, and board development issues. No other organization currently offers the array of programs that support the public presentation of choral music. The Choral Project is a member of Chorus America.
ACDA - The American Choral Directors Association (ACDA) is a nonprofit music-education organization whose central purpose is to promote excellence in choral music through performance, composition, publication, research, and teaching. The Choral Project has several singers who hold membership in ACDA. Additionally, the ensemble performed at the 2000 Western Division Convention for ACDA.

Artsopolis.com - The leading online resource for Arts and Cultural information in Silicon Valley and beyond. It offers the largest database of Silicon Valley Arts and Cultural events, as well as additional listings of classes and workshops, jobs, auditions, organizations, schools, venues, and individual artists.
Johnson Digital Audio - Johnson Digital Audio (JDA), is the premier remote digital recording, digital editing, CD mastering and duplicating services company, serving the Bay Area since 1986. JDA records all The Choral Project live performances, as well as their critically-acclaimed recordings.
ACFEA - ACFEA Tour Consultants has been creating custom tours for performing arts groups throughout the world. ACFEA handled all tour arrangements for The Choral Project's tours to Mexico, Costa Rica and the United Kingdom.
NH Design - NH Design has been creating eye-popping brochures, business imaging, web sites, newsletters, CD packaging, POP and direct mail pieces since 1997. With a wide range of business skills, artistic abilities, and a keen understanding of a client¹s needs, NH Design is able to provide the gamut of an individual's graphic and web needs. NH Design was instrumental in the design and layout for The Choral Project's past and current sites.
DISASTER RELIEF
American Red Cross - For over 130 years Red Cross volunteers have been guided by a single principle: to help people in need, regardless of race, religion, gender, or national origin. The Red Cross has been there, and will continue to be there -- first, best and always -- for disaster victims in need of food, clothing and shelter.
Mercy Corps helps more than seven million people each year recover from disasters, build stronger communities and find their own solutions to poverty.
Second Harvest - The mission of America's Second Harvest is to create a hunger-free America. They distribute food and grocery products through a nationwide network of certified affiliates, increase public awareness of domestic hunger, and advocate for policies that benefit America's hungry.
Feed the Children is a nonprofit Christian organization providing food, clothing, educational supplies, medical equipment and other necessities to people who lack these essentials.
Habitat for Humanity - Since 1976, Habitat for Humanity International has built and rehabilitated more than 150,000 houses with families in need, becoming a true world leader in addressing the issues of poverty housing.
Humane Society of the U.S. - In response to the devastation caused by Hurricane Katrina, The HSUS has begun a massive relief effort to rescue animals and assist their caregivers in the disaster areas.
Emergency Animal Rescue Service (EARS) began filling a void over 15 years ago, responding to wild fires, floods, earthquakes, tornadoes and hurricanes to care for the animals. When EARS arrives, trained volunteers rescue, shelter, feed, groom, exercise and provide TLC for any displaced companion animals, wildlife and livestock during the duration of a disaster with no charge to the community.
Unicef works for children's rights, their survival, development and protection, guided by the Convention on the Rights of the Child.
Oxfam America - Oxfam America is a Boston-based international development and relief agency and an affiliate of Oxfam International. Working with local partners, Oxfam America delivers development programs and emergency relief services, and campaigns for change in global practices and policies that keep people in poverty.
Operation USA - an L.A. based disaster-relief organization, assists developing communities here and abroad in addressing problems relating to natural and man-made disasters and chronic poverty through the creation of sustainable health, nutrition and disaster response programs.
Doctors Without Borders is an international independent medical humanitarian organization that delivers emergency aid to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, natural and man-made disasters, and exclusion from health care in nearly 70 countries.
Save the Children is the leading independent organization creating real and lasting change for children in need in the United States and around the world. It is a member of the International Save the Children Alliance, comprising 27 national Save the Children organizations working in more than 100 countries to ensure the well-being of children.
NetAid - is a non-profit organization that educates, inspires and empowers young people to fight global poverty. Focusing efforts on the U.S. and other wealthy countries, they're creating a movement of young people who are champions for the world's poor and engaged global citizens.
