Winter's Gifts: Solstice
The Choral Project and the San José Chamber Orchestra present their annual holiday offering Winter's Gifts, featuring music that highlights wintertime and the Solstice with Native American music and traditional holiday pieces. The two ensembles combine with the stellar talents of Ann Licater, a specialist of the Native American flute, to weave a rich tapestry of seasonal sounds with which to celebrate the yuletide. Works include "Winter" from Vivaldi's The Four Seasons, Vaughan Williams' Fantasy on "Greensleeves," and Eric Whitacre's Winter, set for strings, harp, sitar and choir. We invite you to make our holiday tradition part of your holiday tradition, so be sure to get your tickets early!

Equinox
As the year finds its perfect balance between day and night, The Choral Project presents a concert that reflects that same balance in a program of music of light and dark colors; classical and folk repertoire; deeply moving works and lighthearted, humorous songs. The program includes Palestrina's gem "Sicut cervus," Franz Biebl's eternal "Ave Maria," "One by One" from the Broadway musical "The Lion King," as well as the classical/pop-ballad "Time to Say Goodbye," made popular by Andrea Boccelli. May this concert leave you with the light of renewed hope for the world and our future.
