The Choral Project
The Choral Project's 30th anniversary season moves between celebration and rebellion, introspection and calling, with music that reckons with the now, illuminates our shared humanity, and imagines what might be possible in the years ahead. Rooted in three decades of artistry but unmistakably of this moment, this is a season about who we are now and who we dare to become.
Tickets and subscriptions for our 30th season concerts will be available for purchase by the general public on Wednesday, September 16th.
Patrons who make a gift of $350 or more can choose where they sit starting Tuesday, August 18, 2026, before tickets go on sale to the general public. Please note that patrons must make a gift August 18–September 15 to qualify for early ticket access.

The Choral Project's 30th milestone season begins with AutumnSongs: GLOW, celebrating the mystery and mischief of the harvest moon and the warmth and joy singing can bring when the weather turns chilly. From Broadway to the Renaissance and the small screen, this concert offers a wealth of treats sure to satisfy every music lover, including music by Lauridsen, The Choral Project’s Daniel Hughes, Monteverdi, Schwartz, Sondheim, Menken, the contemporary a cappella ensemble The Real Group, and more.

Hope shines brightest when we share it.
Mendelssohn, Vaughan Williams, Henry Mollicone, Gabriel Fauré, Christopher Tin, and other celebrated composers join The Choral Project and the San José Chamber Orchestra for Winter's Gifts: LIGHT. Spanning centuries and styles, this cherished holiday tradition celebrates hope, generosity, and the moments that bring us together, inviting audiences to pause, reflect, and commemorate the season.

An unforgettable evening awaits at The Choral Project's signature fundraising event.
Start the evening with a talkback featuring Artistic Director Daniel Hughes and special guests, followed by a concert celebrating the music, artistry, and community that have shaped TCP over three decades. Continue the celebration at a post-concert reception with light bites and drinks, while bidding on unique silent-auction packages. The auction opens before the talkback and closes at the conclusion of the reception. Winners need not be present to win.

Music by queer composers stands alongside TCP mainstay composers and favorites as Earthsongs: FLARE brings our anniversary season to a close. Reflecting our evolving world and the voices shaping its future, this season finale explores identity, resilience, belonging, and our shared humanity while looking ahead to the next chapter of The Choral Project's story.

The Choral Project has earned a series of extraordinary achievements over the years. We represented California at the National Cathedral in Washington, DC, and secured 2nd place in the Mixed Choir competition at Eisteddfod in Wales.
