Inclusion
The Choral Project’s vision is to transform and heal through music and words. In that spirit, TCP decries all racism, bigotry, and injustices. As a diverse community of artists, our voices promote inclusion, representation, and compassion, both in programming and as a fundamental value in the way we do business.
The acronym TCP is a well-known shorthand for The Choral Project. But TCP also represents three essential principles for our choral group:
T
eamwork implies a level of trust among everyone in our organization at every level, from our board and leadership team, to our singers. And that trust is rooted in a clear understanding that social justice and diversity are as important as our craft.
C
ommunity is about connection to each other as a choral organization and connecting with our audiences in a way that makes room for people of all races, colors, nationalities, religions, sexes, sexual orientations, ages, and gender identities, including those with disabilities.
P
assion plays an integral role in our core competency, and as such, it fuels our mission to connect with one another through choral theatre, education, and musical excellence.
VISION: To transform and heal through music and words.
MISSION: To connect to one another through choral theatre, education, and musical excellence.
